On behalf of a client (distributor of high-end electrical equipment) Right Performances recruits a TECHNICO-SALESMAN.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, your mission is to develop and maintain a customer portfolio in order to increase the company’s turnover. In this context, your mission revolves around the following activities:
Commercial prospecting

- Discover the customer and identify his expectations and needs.
- Promote the entire product range in the field to existing retail or key account customers, whether they are prescribers, investors or users to develop sales.
- Negotiate with customers, in agreement with the hierarchical superior, prices, deadlines and quantities.
- Sign and have sales contracts signed
- Develop your presence with end customers, design offices, architects… through regular visits and mailings.
Customer follow-up and business development

- Consolidate the existing customer portfolio by proposing new products and meeting the various prospects likely to trigger new orders.
- Animate and retain your network of customers (prescribers, distributors / traders, installers / installers).
- Ensure compliance with the clauses of the sales contract and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Respond to any commercial request from customers or prospects.
- Ensure regular visits or mailings to maintain contact with acquired customers.
- Ensure compliance with commercial conditions (rates, conditions, etc.).
- Ensure reporting to the sales manager on sales results, contacts and all useful information collected in the field
Profile sought
- Higher education (ideally bac +2 in electrical or electronic engineering), you justify at least a first significant commercial experience ideally acquired in the distribution of electrical equipment.
You define yourself as someone who has:
- Skills in sales techniques: making appointments, identifying needs and resistance, signing contracts.
- Interpersonal skills allowing you to maintain and develop partnership relationships;
- A good marketing and service culture to easily interact with various interlocutors;
- Good listening skills and availability to best understand the expectations and needs of the customer
- Mastery of IT tools, including software packages dedicated to reporting
- One able to withstand stress to withstand pressure and work to value its remuneration, partly dependent on your commercial results.
- A good knowledge of the city of Douala and its development plan.
- You are dynamic and passionate about sales. Hardworking and concerned about customer satisfaction
