Focus on our activities CAMEROON
Our mission in Cameroon has existed since 2008. PUI is based in Yaoundé, and operates mainly on two bases Kousseri and Maroua, in the Far North region. Its main project is the coordination of the RRM mechanism (rapid response mechanism) in partnership with local and international NGOs, with an integrated response, mainly in Water, Hygiene, Sanitation (WASH), and in shelters and AME. Other integrated WASH projects are carried out in the same region.

- RRM – MAROUA in all this?
As RRM Coordinator, you will ensure the coordination of the implementation and monitoring of the Rapid Response Mechanism program. You will be responsible for
- e of the proper execution and quality of the activity implemented, and if necessary, propose adjustments or developments to guarantee its quality. You will also ensure the representation of the association with the authorities, humanitarian actors and donors, and will be in charge of communication around the action.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows: Programs: You will ensure the proper implementation and monitoring of the RRM program under your responsibility.
Representation / Coordination: You will represent the association with partners, donors, authorities and local stakeholders involved in the implementation of the RRM program, coordinate the sectoral representation of PUI and ensure the proper circulation of information on the mission.
Logistics and administration: You will ensure the logistical and administrative monitoring of the project’s cross-functional activities.
Security: You will contribute to compliance with security rules and security analysis in RRM areas.
Assessments / Strategy: You will contribute to defining the strategy and developing new interventions based on identified needs.
Human Resources / Training: You will supervise the mission’s RRM technical coordination team, provide support to program managers in the recruitment of technical profiles and supervise technical training actions based on identified needs.
The challenges that await you:
1. Implementation of the new RRM strategy to promote more substantial coverage of humanitarian needs through the RRM 2. Review and update of the RRM guidelines 3. Advocacy and representation with clusters and working groups 4. Support for implementing partners and new partners of the mechanism. 5. Animation of monitoring coordination and rapid response
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Training
You can demonstrate a higher degree (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in the humanitarian field, in project management, or an equivalent combination of experience.
Experience
You have at least two years of professional experience in the humanitarian sector. Have you held a position related to RRM project management and/or conducting multi-sector evaluations? This will be highly appreciated. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!
SKILLS
You have mastered project management, demonstrated very good writing skills and are familiar with the procedures of the main institutional donors (ECHO, UN agencies, etc.).
Required qualities
You are a good communicator, both in writing and orally, you are proactive and have a sense of responsibility. You demonstrate good analytical skills, organization, rigor, and good priority management. You also show strong resistance to stress.
LANGUAGES
Do you speak French and English like the back of your hand? Great, it’s essential for this position! If you also speak Arabic, that would be a definite asset.

Status: Executive on Fixed-Term Contract
Gross monthly salary: 2,650.00 – 3,130.00 EUR depending on your experience in international solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI
Insurance including medical and supplementary health coverage, 24-hour assistance, repatriation and pension provision
Accommodation in a collective house
Living expenses (“Per Diem”)
Break schedule: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months of mission
Paid Leave Plan: 5 weeks of paid leave/year + return plane ticket home every 6 months
