Job description
The Commercial and Operations Director (DCE) is responsible for organizing and managing the Department under his responsibility. To this end, he must increase turnover and gross margin for all lines of products and services marketed by ensuring the control, security, and integrity of commercial operations. He supervises a team of approximately 30 people spread across 3 agencies and 3 sales departments. He works in collaboration with the Director of Accounting and Finance (DCF) and the Director of General Affairs (DAG).




In this capacity, he must:

Develop SOFITOUL’s turnover for all business lines (travel services, car rental, tourism and leisure services, etc.) in the CEMAC sub-region;
Design and implement SOFITOUL’s business development strategy for all business lines (travel services, car rental, tourism and leisure services, etc.) in the CEMAC sub-region Manage (develop the portfolio, build customer loyalty, manage portfolio risks, etc.) SOFITOUL’s commercial activities in the CEMAC sub-region; Supervise SOFITOUL’s commercial activities for all product and service lines (travel services, car rental, tourism and leisure services, etc.);

Promote the brand image and awareness of SOFITOUL; Represent the company to third parties on aspects related to its area of ​​expertise. Professional experience Approximately 10 to 15 years of experience in sales and marketing management with proven results in sales development. A good understanding of the marketing of travel, tourism and leisure services is desirable. Specific skills Very good command of marketing management tools and concepts (strategic and operational);




Very good mastery of sales development methods for services in general (canvassing, negotiation, closing the sale, invoicing, after-sales service, etc.), and travel, tourism, and leisure services in particular; Very good mastery of digital marketing techniques; Mastery of techniques for assembling and presenting responses to calls for tenders; Good mastery of public relations techniques; Possess excellent interpersonal skills, very good listening skills, great adaptability and a competitive spirit Use of office software (calendar, email, spreadsheet, word processing, etc.).
