Article 1: A competitive written examination for admission into level one of the Engineering
Programs of the School of Geology and Mining Engineering of the University of Ngaoundere
has been launched, for the 2023/2024 academic year. in the following departments and
specialties, and in accordance with the number of places available listed below:

Article 2: (1) The competitive entrance examination is organized in a single session for
Cameroonians of both sexes and who are holders of the following certificates:
– the Baccalauréat Certificate C, D, E, F ou TI;
– the GCE Advanced Level in at least two (02) science subjects/papers, and the GCE
Ordinary Level obtained in one session with at least four (04) subjects/papers including
at least two (02) science subjects/papers, and excluding “Religious Knowledge”, the
relevant science subjects/papers being: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences,
Geology, Mathematics and Physics;

 

 

– any other diploma/certificate recognized by the Minister of Higher Education as
equivalent or in exemption to the Baccalauréat Certificate or the GCE Advanced Level
and including the subjects/papers required for application in the specialty solicited.
(2) Candidates who are holders of foreign diplomas/certificates have to present the
order granting equivalence issued by the Minister of Higher Education, or the acceptance slip for
a diploma equivalence application. However, where the case arises, their final admission shall be
possible only on the presentation of proof of having obtained the equivalence of the required
diploma/certificate within the date limits specified by the competent authority.
Article 3: (1) Foreign candidates from member countries of the Economie and Monetary
Community of Central Africa (EMCCA) having ratified the texts relating to national treatment of
students may be authorized to sit for the examination under the same academic conditions and
based on the number of places available, in accordance with the regulation in force
