INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION  (IPMO) – YAOUNDE

 Seeking to Recruit five (5) Interns / Volunteers for a one year training

ORGANISATION’S  BACKGROUND

IPMO is a non profit making organization of Cameroon origin with activities spreading across the world. IPMO  functions to increase Cameroon’s innovation and research centers, building a strong economy, creating job opportunities, revolutionizing the project management landscape across the world.  IPMO scope of activities extends to projects in the field of Technology, development sector, engineering, health care, education, agriculture among others.

IPMO is dedicated to promoting and advancing the project management profession. IPMO is the largest professional body for project management in Africa and Cameroon. Existing since 2020, IPMO has been at the forefront of developing project management standards, best practices, and methodologies. The organization provides a platform for project professionals to network, share knowledge, and enhance their skills through various training programs, events, and resources. One of the key objectives of IPMO is to promote the value of project management in economies and its contribution to organizational success. training programs, consultancy services, and benchmarking tools to improve project delivery and achieve strategic objectives. IPMO also offers both local and international accreditation and certification schemes, which provides a recognized standard for project management competence. The organization collaborates with universities and educational institutions to promote project management as a career choice and supports research initiatives to advance the profession of project management. The organization actively encourages underrepresented groups to pursue careers in project management and provides support and resources to help them succeed. IPMO also champions the importance of ethical and responsible project management practices, promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainability. IPMO plays a vital role in shaping the future of project management in Cameroon, Africa and the world beyond.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent skills in all forms of digital marketing and graphic designing.
• IT friendly with good knowledge in project management softwares.
• Have at least an HND in project management, marketing, computer science, software engineering, cyber security, data science or any related field of study.
• An excellent communicator with good public relation and Marketing skills, both traditional and social media.

✓REPORTING

 International Project Management Organization (IPMO) has offices in several countries across the world including Yaounde but the volunteers will mostly work online (hybrid). The selected candidates will be reporting to the country director and the CEO of IPMO.
