Position to be filled: SENIOR BANKER

Position: COLLABORATOR

• Develop the commercial relationship with major accounts (strategic customers) in terms of volume of activity entrusted and cross-selling;
• Ensure the interface between the bank and strategic clients;
• Ensure the profitability of the customer portfolio;
• Develop the business flow in line with the bank’s development strategy;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the business development strategy.

ACTIVITIES OF THE POST

• Undertake commercial steps and ensure the completion of operations carried out by the business manager in pairs;
• Ensure the development and monitoring of the portfolio by proposing personalized service offers adapted to the needs of customers;
• Staying in touch with the market to identify new large-scale projects requiring bank financing and likely to contribute to the development of the bank’s business;
• Develop cross-selling for all of the bank’s products in synergy with all commercial entities;
• Be a driving force in terms of strategic direction to promote the development of customer relationships.

• Ensure reporting on the monitoring of the achievement of objectives, commercial activity, operations and remarkable events;
• Maintain a high-level relationship with decision-making contacts within Key Account clients;
• Set and negotiate annual objectives and implement a commercial action plan;
• Supervise the daily management of the clientele (monitoring of accounts, operations, complaints, unblocking, unpaid amounts, etc.). Ensure the monitoring and coordination of actions concerning the client’s operations;

• Issue a reasoned opinion on the feasibility of the financing request and propose financing and risk structuring conditions;
• Supervise compliance with the rules of use in terms of risk, with credit analysts and ensure compliance with the overall risk management policy;
• Continuously update its knowledge of sector developments likely to impact the situation and strategy of its clients;
• Proceed to recovery amicably.
• Master the risk control measures inherent in the customer portfolio.

• Complete the credit assembly carried out by credit analysts;
• Check the solidity of the files and validate them;
• Ensure the assembly of structured financing files;
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions and pricing based on the bank’s profitability;
• Define the best financing scheme based on the project risks;
• Monitor the progress of the credit granting process with the relevant managers;
• Ensure credit monitoring after funds are released.

Level of study: BAC+4/5 in Economics, Finance, Management or a related discipline;

Business School Diploma;

ITB banking diploma.

Experience: 07 years minimum in a similar position, Large Company Account Manager or Agency Director in the banking sector

• Knowledge of banking activity, processing circuits, procedures and regulations; Knowledge of markets, financial products and the sector of activity of its clients;
• Mastery of sales and negotiation techniques;
• Mastery of complex financing such as syndicated loans;
• Mastery of sales and prospecting techniques;
• Mastery of financial analysis;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Proficiency in IT tools (office automation, job-related software).

• Good negotiation and persuasion skills;
• Decision-making ability and risk-taking skills;
• Capacity for analysis and synthesis;
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Availability and ability to handle pressure;
• Ability to work in a team.
