Job Description: Senior Engineer, Civil Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to supervise and coordinate our projects, with responsibilities close to those of a Technical Director (TD).

Main responsibilities:

• • Planning and management of works:
  • Monitor site activities daily to ensure they comply with plans and technical specifications.
  • Establish and monitor execution schedules, respecting deadlines and budgets.

• Team coordination:
• Supervise technical teams in the field and ensure their performance.
• Serve as a liaison point between site personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and management.
• Quality Control and Safety: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.

Reporting:

• Produce detailed weekly reports on project progress for management and clients.
• Identify and resolve technical problems encountered on construction sites.
• Optimization and Innovation: Identify and resolve technical and logistical problems, proposing innovative solutions to minimize delays and costs.
• On-Time Compliance: Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Civil engineering degree obtained before 2020
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position

Technical skills:

• • Proficiency in design and project management software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).

• Strong skills in sizing, structure and execution of works.

Personal qualities:

• Leadership and ability to motivate teams.
• Excellent organization and ability to work under pressure. – Rigor, proactivity and decisiveness.
• Asset: Experience in a similar role as DT or Site Manager is a plus.

Work Location:

Various construction sites located across Cameroon, with a main base in Yaoundé.
