General information​​​​​​​
Comprised of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM, and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire for the container terminal at the Kribi deepwater port.
KCT provides Cameroon’s logistics chain with modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.
A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also aims to position itself as a transshipment hub.

Mission Description
• Integrate the defined requirements and company procedures for driving public transport vehicles, and ensure that they are understood and respected;
• Apply work instructions relating to bus driving and in strict compliance with the highway code and port traffic regulations in force.
• Be aware of its programming and demonstrate diligence and punctuality
• Ensure the vehicle check-up before taking possession of it;
• Check the availability on board of the administrative documentation required for driving the vehicle (registration card, sticker, insurance, port access sticker, etc.), as well as the driver’s valid driving license;
• Refuel according to the procedure in force and in such a way as to avoid running out of fuel.
• Use the equipment in compliance with driving and safety instructions
• Deploy staff on the terminal satisfactorily during the allotted time, emphasizing shift changes and ensuring communications via VHF.
• Transport terminal personnel to the city and vice versa depending on operational needs
• Report breakdowns to the equipment monitoring agent and stay with the broken-down vehicle until the repair is complete.
• Ensure the proper working order and cleanliness of the vehicle entrusted; daily maintenance (checking levels, cleaning windows, rearview mirrors, interior of the vehicle).
• Immediately report any damage noted on the vehicle to management. •
In the event of an incident or accident:
 Apply the corresponding instructions, learned during awareness meetings and training;
 Inform the line manager and follow his instructions
• Drive the vehicle for which he is responsible, respecting the safety measures specific to his behavior according to the different maneuvers to be carried out;
• Be actively involved:
 In the methods necessary for the preservation of the vehicle for which he is responsible
 In the preservation of the equipment made available by reporting any anomalies noted to his superiors
• In a non-limiting manner, make his skills available to the company according to the service requirements wherever necessary.

 

Profile
• Hold a B and D license
• Experience in a similar position (2-3 years)
• Cumulative professional experience (5 years)
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work under pressure
• Show strong adherence and respect for KCT values
