Who can apply? (General conditions for early admission)
Based on the criteria of the last recruitment in 2023 , here are the main conditions expected for 2025:
- Be of Cameroonian nationality
- Be between 18 and 23 years old on January 1, 2025 (for State Registered Nurses, the age limit could be 25 years old)
- Never having been convicted
- Being single with no dependent children
- Be of good character
- Be physically fit to meet the prescribed medical, intellectual and sporting tests
- Hold at least the CEP, FSLC or an equivalent diploma (presenting your highest diploma is recommended)
- For State Registered Nurse (IDE) candidates , hold a diploma recognized by the Ministry of Public Health
- Have a minimum height of 1.66 meters
Documents to be provided and early application procedure
If the process follows the same model as in 2023, here are the documents that could be required:
- 01 handwritten request stamped at 1,500 CFA francs, signed and addressed to the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in Charge of Defense
- 01 copy of birth certificate less than three months old
- 01 certified copy of the diploma presented
- 01 certificate of presentation of the original diploma
- 01 extract from criminal record bulletin no. 3 dating from less than three months ago
- 01 duly completed information sheet
- 01 certificate of celibacy
- 04 4×4 identity photos with the candidate’s name on the back
- 01 uncertified photocopy of the National Identity Card or receipt
- 01 certificate of Cameroonian nationality
- 01 stamped envelope of 500 CFA francs addressed to the candidate
- 01 signed resume
- Participation fee of 5,000 FCFA (summary medical examination) and 20,000 FCFA (in-depth medical examination after preselection)
BIR Cameroon Recruitment Expected Dates 2025
In 2023, the recruitment process took place from October 21 to December 2 , with applications being submitted between September 4 and October 6. If the plan is followed, the expected dates for 2025 could be:
- Opening of application submissions: early September 2025
- Registration deadline: early October 2025
- Start of recruitment process: mid-October 2025
- End of recruitment: early December 2025
