Responsibilities

Operational Delivery

  • Define and maintain the documentation of technology governance frameworks
  • Develop and maintain plans to implement our adopted governance frameworks
  • Define, maintain and communicate to the appropriate audience our information security policies, standards, process and procedures
  • Establish and report on metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the Technology Governance frameworks, and specifically the ISO27001 ISMS.
  • Follow up and report on the risk treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance to the standards ISO27001, NIST and local laws and regulation through self-assessment reports and actions follow up.
  • Evaluate and manage outsourced / third-party / cloud technologies and hosting environments to ensure they provide adequate protection for the processing, transmission, and storage of MTN’s information;
  • Support Data Privacy Office
  • Work as part of the Privacy Team to improve, develop, and maintain MTNC global privacy program.
  • Conduct data inventory reviews, privacy assessments, and compliance reviews of internal systems and third-party data feeds.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of IT Governance and Information Security management and control activities in governance framework.
  • Participate and facilitate the internal and external audit process through coordination of all audit requests withing Technology and follow up on resolution of audit findings and reporting on the outcomes.
  • Ensure systematic integration information security controls into third party contracts and SLA’s.
  • Proceed to self-assessment or audit of third-party compliance with information security annexures.
  • Define the Business Resilience actions within technology that will help improve technology and information security resilience
  • Report on Technology Resilience
  • Prepare the Technology and Security Governance Committees meetings

Qualifications

Education:

  • 4-year Engineering/ IT / Information Security / Computer Science Degree
  • Master’s in computer science is preferred

 

Experience:

  • Four (4) years in an IT-related function managing: Information Security, Governance, Business Resilience, Risk and Compliance
  • Experience in various Compliance
  • Solid understanding of Information Technology, Information Security, IT architectures, and cloud. Proven knowledge or experience in technology environments
  • Experience in Stakeholder management, with ability to work with several stakeholders within the company at the same time.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality is required with zero tolerance
  • Knowledge on Data Privacy

About the Team

  • Consultancy Role: Provide expert advice to the organization and it’s managers on any aspect of workforce management and employee relations and performance.
  • Service Role: Ensure the organization is fully aware of and is equipped to deal with developments impacting employment matters, such as changes in legislation, changes in the characteristics of the labor market.
