General information​​​​​​​

Made up of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire of the container terminal of the deep-water port of Kribi.
KCT offers the Cameroonian logistics chain a modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.
A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also wishes to position itself as a transhipment hub.

Mission Description

– Assist the Manager in charge in the recruitment process (collection of applications, selection of candidates, organization of selection interviews, etc.);
– Write staff requests and advertisements in compliance with the specificities of each research medium and the employer’s brand image, then have them validated by their line manager;
– Receive and sort candidates’ CVs, following the instructions of their line manager;
– Organize recruitment tests (invitation, call, room reservation, monitoring);
– Participate in the organization of interviews: invitation of candidates, management of the schedule, preparation of interview files, etc.




– Participate in recruitment interviews and write recruitment reports to be validated by their line manager;
– Provide feedback to candidates and follow up for reporting to their line manager;
– Assist in the drafting of job offers and submit them for validation by their line manager;
– Participate in the process of welcoming and integrating new recruits; Collect all necessary personal information and ensure that each new employee signs their contract, job description, internal regulations and the code of conduct upon hiring;
– Participate in monitoring staff integrations and notifying workers;
– Maintain the database of unsolicited applications via the email address;
– Maintain and update the recruitment dashboard;
– Carry out weekly and monthly reporting of recruitment activities with areas for improvement to be proposed.
– Participate in the implementation of the training plan and training actions in relation to the KCT training policy;
– Contribute to the collection of training needs resulting from annual staff evaluations;
– Participate in the implementation of the evaluation of the effectiveness of training;
– Participate in the analysis of needs and the establishment of a training plan
– Assist in the coordination of the smooth running of training
– Monitor, control and analyze the hot evaluation sheets;
– Systematically update training notebooks;
– Write reports and training summary notes;
– Participate in the non-performer process and the implementation of various action plans;
– Participate in the monitoring of post-training action plans;
– Maintain the training notebook dashboard and the dashboard for monitoring the validity of training certificates and attestations – Contribute to the monitoring and implementation of internal training in collaboration with the Training Manager.

 




Profile

– Minimum BAC+3 in HR or any other equivalent diploma;
– Cumulative professional experience of at least 4 years and at least 2 years in a similar position;
– Proven professional experience in an industrial environment or in a recruitment/training firm;
– Knowledge of Cameroonian labor law;
– Mastery of recruitment, training and career management procedures;
– In-depth knowledge of best practices for effective communication;
– In-depth knowledge of best practices for administrative personnel management
– Have a comprehensive knowledge of port activities;
– Develop a passion for port professions.
– Required qualities: Excellent organizational and planning skills – Ability to communicate effectively – Ability to work under pressure – Strong ability to adapt and learn – Show strong adherence and respect for KCT values ​​- Demonstrate good integrity, diplomacy and impartiality – Confidentiality and discretion – Reliability, rigor and method – Sense of observation, analysis and synthesis.
– Language skills: Fluency in French and English would be an asset.
– Proficiency in the OFFICE Pack.
