HSD- MELT is looking for one of its customers in the automotive sector, 01 (a) Technical
Salesman, to support the development of its activities in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Sell products by highlighting their features and brand
- Establish new business contacts and thus develop the customer portfolio
- Analyze the market, learn about competitors in order to be proactive towards customers,
- Seek new opportunities by monitoring the creditworthiness of clients;
- Be in regular contact with our customers in order to analyze their needs and provide adapted solutions;
- Respect pricing policy, prices, margins and conditions of sale;
- Develop turnover while preserving margins,
- Define a commercial action plan: Develop local sales techniques, set up tools and operational supports for direct marketing, deploy actions;
- Establish a schedule and carry out current and potential customer visits, produce a detailed report on each visit, update the customer database;
- Manage the necessary actions to ensure the achievement of the Quality/Environment/Safety objectives set by the Management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the company’s commercial and marketing actions
- Participate in product/line strategies

PROFILE:
Required training and experience
- Level bac + 3 in a technical discipline or equivalent professional training
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a salesperson (experience in construction, forestry, mining would be a major asset)
- Fluency in French and English
Technical and/or specific
knowledge / skills Know-how:
- Customer service and excellent communication
- Product and industry knowledge
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
