JOB MISSIONS:

The FOOD buyer (M/F) is responsible for ensuring the purchases and supply of one or more company products . He is also responsible for the portfolio of suppliers that meet the company’s requirements; It therefore ensures the supply at the best quality/price ratio.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

Ensures the continuous supply of items in the stores for which he is responsible;
Analyzes and monitors inventory by store;
Responsible for the extraction of weekly sales statistics and their analysis;
Make local and import order proposals;
Monitors order rates;
Offers articles for periodic promotions (Mother’s Day, Easter, FFA etc…);
Negotiate local offers;
Assists in the analysis and processing of import offers;
Ensures the follow-up of import deliveries in collaboration with the purchasing manager;
Ensures the follow-up of import supplier payments;
Enter and edit exceptional orders if necessary.

PROFILE:

Training and Experience:

Academic level: Hold a BAC+2/3 in commerce, logistics and transport option international trade, purchasing and supplies, or any other diploma recognized as equivalent.
Professional experience: minimum 2 to 3 experiences in a similar position. Experience in the retail sector would be an asset;
Master Microsoft Office;
Technical knowledge:

Perfect mastery of purchasing techniques;
Very good knowledge of the characteristics of the products;
Negotiation skills;
Financial management skills to be able to analyze costs and margins;
Fluency in English would be an asset.
