Position: Agricultural Technician

The European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), an international solidarity organization created in 1988, implements economic and human development projects in around fifteen countries, in partnership with local institutions, enabling young people and people in precarious situations to access decent and sustainable jobs, in a quality educational and health environment. More than 30 years of experience in the fields of education, vocational training and access to employment for young people have enabled the IECD to develop real know-how in the service of the most vulnerable people.
Assignment
The post holder will be mobilized on the following missions, to be carried out under the direct responsibility of the Experimental Station and Social Enterprise Incubator Manager. Close communication is expected between the post holder and his/her direct hierarchical manager.
Skills sought:
- BAC +2 in agronomy (more specifically in fruit growing) and 02 years of practical experience in the creation/maintenance/management of agricultural operations.
Job Condition
Status: 2-year fixed-term contract after a successful 6-month trial period
Start dates: ASAP
Location: Dschang – Cameroon
Reporting directly to: Head of experimental station and social enterprise nurseries
Working hours: 40 hours / week
NB: be willing to carry out plot work on weekends
Remuneration: 85,000 XAF net monthly
Other benefits: 80% health insurance, 5000 francs/month communication credit, Possibility of providing a motorbike to facilitate travel for work
(Have a Category A driving license).
