To strengthen its management team, the French Development Agency (AFD) is looking for ASSISTANT. E OF LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT – F/M versatile and dynamic for his agency in Yaoundé.ROLE
Within the management pole of the Yaoundé Agency, the Management Assistant contribute to the proper functioning of the Agency by partially managing administrative, financial, accounting.
Specifically, this will include logistics management and general resources of the agency, participate in the management of purchases, the procedures and administrative formalities, the monitoring of the heritage, the follow-up of the implementation work of the budget and logistics of the agency’s car fleet.
Purchase, general resources and assets of the agency
- Monitors the real estate leases of the Yaoundé agency.
- Monitors, on a daily basis, the maintenance of movable heritage and Real estate of the agency.
- Tracks different suppliers and service providers for the acquisition of goods and supplies and the execution of Renewal / maintenance of offices and housing and guarding.
- Keeps track of office supplies on a daily basis.
- Maintains the database of suppliers and service providers.
- Maintains the agency’s commitment tracking file (purchase orders).
- Maintains consumption dashboards (water-electricity and supply office-telephone- mission expenses).
Follow-up of administrative procedures
- Carries out the procedures with the administration for the various Administrative formalities of expatriate employees and their families ( stay, visas, registration document, permit, IM5, customs clearance …).
- Tracks exemption requests.

Management control, reporting and logistical monitoring of the Drivers
- Tracks drivers and establishes their schedule.
- Monitors vehicle maintenance (oil change – repairs).
- Monitors and manages the fuel stock box.
- Supports the archiving of agency documents.
PROFILE
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Rigoureux.se- respect for deadlines and proactivity.
- Customer orientation and result.
- Analysis and problem solving – critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Excellent mastery of computer tools and Excel in particular.
- BAC + 3 level, and more in logistics management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in general services management.
- Endowed with a strong versatility, a good ability to adapt, the sense teamwork, demonstrating great rigor, organization in the work, and confidentiality with regard to the information processed.
