The Hotel VENDÔME is looking for 01 Management Controller in Hospitality as part of its activities. A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management control is mandatory

Post:

Reporting to the CEO, your main mission will be to provide all the information in terms of control of income from expenses and improve the economic profitability of the company.

You will be in more detail in charge of:

• •  Set up management control in the hotel to ensure control of turnover and costs;
  • Check that the procedures in place are followed, understood and that the persons concerned adhere to them;
  • Check the daily report, the report of deductions, disbursements and have it approved by the persons concerned;
  • Participate in the development of monthly dashboards with the Chief Accountant and the analysis of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual results;

• Propose action plans and ensure their follow-up;
• Supervise the catering department, the kitchen, the commissary, stocks, control of technical sheets, purchase prices, inventories, reception, other income, F&B consumption, accommodation consumption, consumption of other departments and all other items of expenditure and payments;
• Make a physical control of stocks;

PROFILE

• Higher education in Finance Accounting Management Control, you justify at least 2 years of experience in accounting management, preferably in the hospitality sector

Required skills:

•  Excellent understanding of a hotel’s operations and administration, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, taxation
•  Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex information and/or activities to improve new practices or develop new approaches;
•  Ability to train team members and develop their skills;
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills;
•  Ability to communicate at all levels;
•  Ability to work effectively in a team and sense of initiative;
•  Excellent organizational skills;
•  Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software);
•  Excellent decision-making skills.
