Opening the competitive entrance examination for the Three Years of the SCIENCE OF
THE ENGINEER at the National Polytechnic School of Douala (ENSPD) of
the University of Douala and fixing the number of places offered, for the academic year
2023/2024.
THE MINISTER OF STATE, MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION:
– Considering the Constitution;
– Having regard to Law No. 2001/005 of April 16, 2001, on the orientation of Higher Education;
– Considering Decree No. 2011/408 of December 9, 2011 on the organization of the Government;
– Considering Decree No. 2011/410 of December 9, 2011 on the formation of the Government;
– Having regard to Decree No. 93/026 of January 19, 1993 establishing Universities;
– Having regard to Decree No. 2005/342 of September 10, 2005 amending and supplementing certain
provisions of Decree No. 93/027 of 19 January 1993 laying down common provisions for
Universities;
– Having regard to Decree No. 93/030 of January 19, 1993 on the administrative organization and
academic from the University of Douala;
– Having regard to Decree No. 93/032 of January 19, 1993 establishing the financial regime applicable to
Universities;
– Considering Decree No. 2012/433 of October 01, 2012 on the organization of the Ministry of
Higher Education;
– Having regard to Decree No. 2017/318 of June 27, 2017 appointing a Vice-Chancellor and
Rectors in some State Universities;
– Considering Decree No. 2020/303 of June 08, 2020 appointing officials in the
State Universities;
– Considering Decree No. 2017/0891/PM of March 12, 2013 appointing officials to the
Ministry of Higher Education;
– Considering the decree n° 2020/272 of May 11, 2020 transforming the Faculty of Engineering
Industrial in the National Polytechnic School of Douala.
– Having regard to Decision No. 18230069/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of April 11, 2023 setting the
calendar of entrance examinations to State University Establishments, under
the academic year 2023/2024;
DECIDED:
Article 1: It is open in the centers below: BAND.JOUN, BERTOUA, EBOLOWA,
GAROUA, DOUALA, MAROUA, NGAOUNDERE and YAOUNDE at the National School
Superior Polytechnic of Douala (ENSPD), a competition on written tests for the
recruitment for the academic year 2023/2024, of Eighty (80) students
distributed according to the specialties, as follows:

Article 2: Are concerned:
-Candidates holding a Scientific License, an Engineering Diploma in
works, a Bachelor of Technology, a University Diploma of Technology (DUT)
Scientific, a Diploma of General University Studies (DEUG) Scientific, or
any other diploma recognized as equivalent by the Ministry of Higher Education; •
– Candidates preparing in 2022/2023 the diplomas mentioned above.
Article 3 (1) The competition programs are those of the classes preparing for the diplomas indicated above. It consists of a 3-hour specialty written test, depending on the
specialty of candidates.
(2) There will be no oral examination.
Article 4: The application files include the following documents:
1- An individual file to be downloaded from the website: www.enspd-udo.cm duly
completed and stamped at 1500 CFA francs by the candidate;
2- A certified photocopy of birth certificate dated less than three months
signed by a competent authority;
3- A certified photocopy of the diploma giving the right to the competition or a
certificate of successful completion of this diploma, if applicable, signed by an authority
competent administrative body;
4- Certified photocopies of transcripts of first, second and
third years signed at establishment;
5- Certified copies of the Probatoire or GCE-OL, Baccalaureate
or of the GCE-AL as the case may be, signed by the competent administrative authority;
6- A medical certificate duly drawn up and issued by a doctor from the administration
attesting that the candidate is fit to pursue higher education;
7- An A4 size envelope stamped at 1000 F CFA addressed to the candidate;
Article 5: The registration fees for the competition amount to Twenty Five thousand (25,000) FCFA
payable to the UBA bank, account n° 0 100 500 000 287 of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure
Polytechnique of Douala (ENSPD) or by Express Union services for cities where
UBA does not exist against a receipt to be attached to the application file. Thesis
fees, non-refundable, are intended to cover the expenses generated by the organization of the
competition. Any other method of payment is excluded.
Article 6: Complete application files will be received at the Education Department of
the National Polytechnic School of

in the regional delegations of the Ministry of Secondary Education on Thursday 27
July 2023 at 3:30 pm at the latest.
Article 7: Only candidates who have presented a complete regulatory file will be
allowed to dial. They will then have to bring their National Identity Card and the
receipt of registration for the competition (to be downloaded), which will be required of them.
Article 8: Candidates for the third year entrance examination must be thirty years old.
two (32) years at most on January 1, 2023 of the year of the competition.
Article 9: The competition will take place on Sunday July 30, 2023 from 8 am in the
centers mentioned above.
Article 10: The Rector of the University of Douala, the Director of Accreditations
Academics and Quality as well as the Director of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure
Polytechnique of Douala are each responsible, as far as they are concerned, for the execution of the
this decision which will be recorded and published, in French and in English wherever necessary
