01 Commitments Controller and 01 Credit Analyst.
THE COMMITMENT CONTROLLER
YOUR MISSION
The Commitments Controller participates in the implementation of a mechanism for controlling
consistent and integrated risks and control of commitments within the Institution. placed under
the responsibility of the Head of Commitments (or Internal Control), his missions are
the following:
1. Main mission: Control the regularity, security and validity of operations
carried out in the Credit and Commitments Control Department.
2.Secondary:
– Inculcate the culture of commitment control among operational staff;
– Ensure compliance with the values of the Institution in the circuit of the management of
commitments (integrity – responsibility – professionalism – customer satisfaction
customer base);
– Present periodic and circumstantial reports to the attention of the hierarchy.
3. Assignment: Validation control
– Guarantee the conformity of authorizations for the allocation of credits and/or endorsements not
validated;
– Check compliance with delegations of power in the granting of credit.
4. Mission: Control of procedures
– Ensure compliance with the rules for underwriting the credits granted and control
the application of the special conditions;
– Check compliance with the pre-litigation monitoring process before transmission of the
credit file for contentious recovery;
– Ensure the existence and implementation of a guarantee monitoring process
effective;
– Control of accounts and compliance of credit files;
– Check compliance with the conditions for granting and setting up credits
in accordance with the decisions of the bodies/committees responsible for it;
– Check that the credits have been duly authorized, correctly accounted for, and
adequately assessed in the GIS;
– Ensure the existence and proper filing of credit files.
5. Assignment: Check deposits/guarantees
– Ensure the follow-up of the guarantees received in connection with the commitments for which
they provide coverage.
– Control the accounting of guarantees (ordinary and due).
– Permanently check the keeping of deposit/guarantee files.
THE CREDIT ANALYST
YOUR MISSION
The Credit Analyst is called upon, in collaboration with the commercial line, to coordinate the
credit analysis activities in compliance with the constraints of the Institution. Placed under the
responsibility of the Head of Credit and Commitment Control, his main
assignments are as follows:
– Ensure strict compliance with credit policies and procedures and matters of the
credit risk taking;
– In terms of counter-analysis, objectively and professionally review the
credit files and ensure the quality of the analyses;
– Initiate scoring and customer selection techniques;
– Ensure that the operational staff masters the techniques for setting up the files
bankable according to the different types of financing allowed by the UFC policy;
– Contribute to the organization of the meetings of Credit and Review Committees
portfolio under conditions favoring decision-making in line with the
UFC internal procedures;
Initiate and/or participate in the drafting of procedures and instructions relating to the
presentation of files in committee;
– Monitoring the credit quality of the portfolio, monitoring and preventing risks.
– Carry out macro-economic or sectoral studies to feed the analyses.
YOUR PROFILE
– You hold a BAC+2 in accounting/audit/management control/finance.
– You have a proven professional experience of at least 3 years in the sector
finance in functions related to the position;
– You have a mastery of the use of the computer tool, Ms OFFICE software
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet…
– You are open-minded, intelligent, rigorous, impartial, honest and have a good
analytical skills.
You have good listening skills, excellent writing skills and good
knowledge in the field of commitments especially in the microfinance sector.
