The University College Cork, Ireland is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2023 Masters Scholarships.

The university is located in Cork. The university was founded in 1845 as one of three Queen’s Colleges located in Belfast, Cork, and Galway. It became University College, Cork, under the Irish Universities Act of 1908. The Universities Act 1997 renamed the university as National University of Ireland, Cork, and a Ministerial Order of 1998 renamed the university as University College Cork

Aim and Benefits of UCC Masters Scholarship
- The scholarship is open to students who are citizens of, or normally resident in developing countries that will take care of the tuition fees, return airfare to Ireland, and a stipend of €1000 per month for a year.
Requirements for UCC Masters Scholarship Qualification
To be considered for the Masters Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries in Ireland, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must first be offered admission to study a master’s degree course by applying via the PAC portal.
- Applicants must have obtained relevant bachelor’s degree from recognized university with good grades.
- Applicants that are non-native speakers of the English language must meet the approved English language requirements.
- Applicants must meet the required entry academic grade, equivalent to Irish requirements.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong academic and leadership potential.

Applicants should apply by sending email to Ms Niamh Kiely (n.kiely@ucc.ie), with the following:
- Evidence that they have applied online;
- A motivational statement (max. 300 words) stating their suitability to be considered for the scholarship.
