PROJECT MANAGEMENT JOB DESCRIPTION
job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and oversee a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
An excellent construction project manager must be familiar with all construction methodologies and procedures and be able to coordinate a team of professionals from different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
The objective will be to ensure that all projects are delivered on time as required and within budget.
Responsibilities:
📌 Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine project specifications.
📌 Negotiate contracts with external suppliers to conclude profitable agreements.
📌 Obtain permits and licenses from the relevant authorities.
📌 Determine the necessary resources (labour, equipment and materials) from start to finish taking into account budget limits.

📌 Plan all construction operations and plan intermediate phases to ensure that deadlines will be met.
📌 Acquire equipment and materials and monitor inventory to address shortfalls in a timely manner.
📌 Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
📌 Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and guide them as needed.
📌 Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
📌 Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and report issues.
Qualifications:
📌 Proven experience as a construction project manager
📌 Thorough understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
📌 Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
📌 Good knowledge of MS Office.
📌 Familiarity with construction/project management software.
📌 Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
📌 Excellent organizational and time management skills
📌 A team player with leadership abilities.
📌 Degree in Project Management or relevant field.
📌 PMP, CAMP, ACP, RMP, PgMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
