STOREKEEPER (F/M) – TRUVOK COMPANY LTD

We are looking for warehouse workers for our ongoing construction projects in Yaoundé and Limbé. A construction site warehouse worker is responsible for maintaining inventory, operating an accounting system, maintaining inventory records, preparing orders for materials, and receiving, reviewing and storing materials. supplies disbursed on work orders and material transfers.

In other words, the construction site warehouseman job description involves supervising and managing the construction site and ensuring that the tools, equipment, and several other materials used in the construction project are safe , secure, well maintained and well managed.

Missions

Maintain and track warehouse receipts, check-ins and withdrawals
Reception, unloading and shelving of supplies
Perform other inventory-related tasks, which may include returning, packaging and labeling supplies.
Examines and examines deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reports to necessary personnel for refunds and recordkeeping.
Clean construction equipment and test it to ensure functionality
Supervise and/or exercise general control over all store tools and activities
Inspect the construction site and ensure that all tools and/or equipment are complete and in good condition
Answer questions regarding procedures and resolve problems that may arise with receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and oversupplies.

Profile

The ability to pay close attention to detail, as supervising a construction site’s shop, as well as a team of workers, involves many different factors
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, as a construction site warehouse worker must be able to communicate adequately with workers, supervisors, vendors, contractors, subcontractors, etc.
Excellent management skills, as he or she is in charge of maintaining all tools and equipment on the construction site and also ensuring that they are safe and well maintained.
Financial knowledge, since a site storekeeper may be required to classify and analyze a large number of financial documents
Strong multitasking skills that allow them to handle multiple tasks effectively at the same time
Good time management skills, since construction projects must be completed within a given time frame
Several years of professional experience in a related or relevant field/position
At least a BAC.
