Prudential Beneficial Insurance is looking for one (1) Accountant based in Douala for its development needs.

Main missions:
• Participates in accounting activity to ensure quality accounting production in compliance with national and international accounting policies and deadlines;
• Participate in the maintenance of accounts: from the recording of events to the production of social, tax and IFRS accounts;

 

 

 

Main activities:
• Contribute to the production of entity accounts;
• Ensures compliance with deadlines, national and international accounting rules;
• Provides business support for day-to-day operations or resolves complex problems within its scope;
• Participates in and controls the closure work;

Support the deployment of new IS or ensure support for proper use;
• Record daily accounting operations;
• Process invoices and other miscellaneous transactions;
• Ensure compliance with the rules applicable to its perimeter and draft operating procedures;
• Analyzes and justifies technical expense accounts.

-Financial accounting;
– Consolidation and standards;
– Internal control and quality;
– Good ability to develop and progress;
– Develop team spirit and transversality.

 

 

 

Prerequisite:
– Training: BAC + 3/4 in Accounting/Finance/Audit/Management Control;
– 3/4 years of experience;
– Master’s degree in management of accounting and financial operations;
– Good knowledge of the chart of accounts and CIMA standards;
– Good knowledge of the office pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
-Bilingual.
