YOUTH RECRUITMENT IN AGRIBUSINESS – IITA

YOUTH RECRUITMENT AND EMPOWERMENT IN AGRI-INDUSTRY

ENABLE Youth Cameroon is implemented in the 5 regions of intervention of AVC_DP which are the Center, the East, the Littoral, the South and the South-West. The different locations in each region are as follows:

 

 

Centre: Yaoundé, Obala, Mbalmayo and Mfou
East: Abong-Mbang and Bouam
Littoral: Bonabéri, Dibombari, Ndoungue, Nkongsamba and Yabassi
South: Ebolowa and Sangmelima
South-West: For reasons unrelated to the project, incubations were not launched in the South West region in 2019

Program Eligibility Criteria
Young people wishing to apply must meet the following criteria:

Nationality
Have Cameroonian nationality
Age
Be between 18 and 35 years old at the application deadline
Level of study
Have a minimum university level BAC + 2 or Advanced Level + 2, regardless of their academic program

 

 

 

Health
Enjoy good health and be physically fit
Availability
Be available during the 12 months of the incubation period and participate daily in the various activities according to the incubation schedule, unless written authorization is granted by the YABIC coordinator in collaboration with the coordinator technique of Enable Youth Cameroon

 

 

 

Experience
Proven professional experience in the agro-pastoral or agri-food sector, particularly in agri-business, would be an asset

Constitution of the file
1. Photocopy of the highest diploma or transcript of marks
2. A Curriculum Vitae of 2 pages maximum (template to be downloaded from www.enableyouthcameroon.iita.org), including experience in or with the agro-industry if necessary applicable
3. A short letter (maximum one page) of motivation
