Senior Auditor.

1) Main missions
As a Senior Auditor, you will be a pillar of our team and will have the following main responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise statutory (Statutory Audit) and contractual audit missions for a
diverse clientele;
• Define audit strategies, allocate tasks and monitor their progress in real time thanks to our
integrated ERP system, in close collaboration with your teams via the platform;
• Lead, train and develop audit teams on your missions, promoting a
collaborative working environment and technical excellence: visualize workloads and availabilities for
optimal planning and distribution, supervise team members and promote a culture
of technical and behavioral excellence;
• Contribute to the realization of other services offered by NexGen such as market studies,
financial analyses and organizational diagnostics;
• Manage client relations strategically: understand in depth their business models and
the challenges of their sector, and embody NexGen’s commitment to their satisfaction.
• Guarantee the technical quality of audit work in accordance with professional standards (ISA,
local standards);
• Analyze specific risks related to industrial activities (inventories, production, fixed assets) and
services (turnover, long-term projects) and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems;
• Master and apply relevant accounting standards (revised SYSCOHADA, IFRS) and their application to
sectoral issues (inventory valuation, revenue recognition, long-
term contracts, etc.);
• Actively contribute to the business development of audit services: identify opportunities,
prepare proposals and participate in client presentations;
• Collaborate with other NexGen service providers to offer integrated solutions to clients.

2) Desired profile
Training
• Master 2 in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or equivalent discipline;
• Chartered Accountant diploma or equivalent (desirable).
Experience
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in financial audit / external audit in a recognized firm, ideally
international or with equivalent rigor;
• Proven ability to manage complex missions, lead teams and establish
lasting client relationships;
• Good level of practice in statutory and contractual audit missions.
Technical skills
• Excellent command of auditing standards (ISA) and applicable accounting standards (revised SYSCOHADA,
IFRS);
• Very good command of IT tools (advanced Excel, data management tools);
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, autonomy and excellent organizational skills.
Behavioral skills
• Natural leadership, team spirit and excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Results-oriented, proactive and commercially astute;
• Integrity, confidentiality, professional ethics;
• Autonomy, organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines;
• Critical thinking and proactiveness;
• Desirous of fully investing in the growth of a dynamic organization and actively contributing
to its success in an implementation context.
Languages
• Perfect professional command of French and English (written and spoken) are essential;
Mobility / travel
• Willing to make occasional trips depending on the missions (client sites).

• Good level of practice in legal and contractual audit engagements.

IFRS);
• Very good command of computer tools (advanced Excel, data management tools);
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, autonomy and excellent organizational skills.
