Company presentation: CAPI CAMEROUN SA., Cameroonian company specializing in manometry, weighing, volumetry, thermometry, dimensional measurements and labeling-packaging of industrial products.
Main missions related to the position:
Admitted to the team, the metrology technician will have the following main tasks:
➤ Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance actions on electrical and electronic equipment

➤ Provide solutions and improvements to automated systems installed at our customers’ premises Set, adjust and commission measuring instruments;
Ensure the compliance of measuring instruments;
Adapt electronic equipment to new needs.
Write intervention reports;
Propose new technical solutions aimed at optimizing the performance of measuring instruments and bagging machines;
➤ Find solutions to anticipate the drift of measuring instruments; Carry out studies and developments of electronic components;
➤ Carry out installations, maintenance, replacements and repairs of electronic components;
➤ Participate in the development of responses to calls for tenders relating to the supply and commissioning of measuring instruments.
Carry out 5S operations
Provide expertise in the implementation of certain solutions related to customer breakdowns
Technical skills:
Have a good command of IT tools, particularly the office suite (World, Excel, Powerpoint);
Have good theoretical and practical knowledge in electronics and electrical engineering Knowledge of legal / industrial metrology (Size: Weight and measurement, Thermometry, Manometry, Volumetry, Dimensional, Electricity);
Good knowledge of industrial computing and automation
Use of electrical measuring devices
Respect safety rules
Adapt and apply the quality and HSE approach
Mastery of diagnostic and fault resolution methods
Good knowledge of electrical, electronic and automatic troubleshooting tools

Minimum degree required:
➤ BTS, DUT or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, electronics or industrial maintenance
➤ Minimum experience desirable: 2 years in a similar position.
