*32,059 CENSUS FIELD OPERATORS/DATA COLLETORS 4th General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE)*

As part of the shared data collection operations of the main census of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing (4th RGPH) and the basic module of the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE), the National Coordination of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing (4th RGPH) and that of the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE) are recruiting thirty-two thousand fifty-nine (32,059) Cameroonians, as Census Agent.
Type of contract:
Fixed-Term Contract (CDD).
Missions and responsibilities:

Placed under the supervision of the National Coordinations of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing and the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock, the Census Agent’s roles are to:

    draw up the list of households in his/her Enumeration Area;
    administer the questionnaires in the households;
    transfer the data to the Team Leader.

Candidate profile:

The candidate must:

    Be of Cameroonian nationality;
    Be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old on January 1 of the current year;
    hold at least a Baccalaureate, GCE A/L or any other equivalent diploma;
    Be physically fit;
    Master at least one of the local languages ​​spoken in the District requested for the collection;
    Be available throughout the period of the operation.

    Know how to use a phone with an Android system;

Having experience in the field of census or statistical survey would be an asset.

Place and deadline for submitting files:

The submission of pre-selection applications is done only online by completing the form below no later than October 20, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. However, for candidates from districts not covered by the internet network, registration is done on a physical information sheet, duly completed and submitted to the relevant Sub-Prefecture. This information sheet is available in the Sub-Prefectures and District Delegations of MINADER and MINEPIA concerned.

Only pre-selected candidates must submit a physical file.
Application file:

Pre-selected candidates will be authorized to undergo training and must provide a file including the following documents:

    a stamped request addressed to the National Coordinators of the 4th RGPH and RGAE;
    a Curriculum Vitae attesting to experience in statistical data collection;

a photocopy of the valid National Identity Card or valid temporary identity document (receipt) legalized at the police station;

    a photocopy of the highest diploma;
    a medical certificate issued by an authorized doctor dated less than three months ago attesting to the ability to carry out field work;
    photocopies of documents attesting to experience in the collection of statistical data, if applicable.

NB: For Public Agent candidates, authorization from the hierarchy is required.

All preselected candidates must present themselves on the first day of training with their complete application file. This training will take place over 28 days in all the district capitals on a date which will be communicated to them at the appropriate time.
