ACCOUNTANT NEEDED AT VISION FINANCE SA – Microfinance Institution

Location: Yaoundé – Cameroon
Reporting to: Branches – Accounting and
Financial Operations Department – ​​General Management
Main missions
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial operations and the quality of
accounting reporting. In this capacity, he/she will be responsible for:
Analysis and Reporting:
 Analyze the branch’s figures and produce balance sheets and financial summaries.
 Ensure regular accounting reporting.
 Check the reliability of accounting entries and the calculation of expenses and income.
 Contribute to the creation of strategic dashboards.
Optimization and Consulting:
 Participate in optimizing the bank’s performance.
 Provide the branch manager with a precise overview of the financial situation and assets.
Key Activities
 Accounting and administrative management.
 Application of accounting standards and principles.
 Participation in bank consolidation.
 Accounting project management and coordination with the back office.
Desired profile
Training and experience:
 Bac + 3 minimum in Accounting and Management;
 Or Bac + 5 (Master 2) in Management, Accounting, Control, Audit, Finance or equivalent;
 Professional experience of at least 3 years, preferably in an accounting firm.
Technical skills:
 Mastery of OHADA and COBAC accounting standards;
 Knowledge of Cameroonian taxation;
 Mastery of IT tools and accounting software packages;
 Good knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures in microfinance;
 Skills in management, auditing, consulting and financial control.
Personal skills:
 Organization, rigor and method;
 Capacity for analysis, synthesis and decision-making;
 Sense of responsibility and strength of proposal;
 Versatility and ability to prioritize activities;
 Good oral and written communication skills;
 Stress resistance and critical thinking.
