AN INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY SPECIALIST NEEDED AT VISION FINANCE SA – Microfinance Institution

Location: Yaoundé – Cameroon
Main missions:
Attached to the Department of Information Systems and Development, the
ISS specialist will be responsible for:
 Defining and implementing the information security policy;
 Analyzing risks related to information systems;
 Ensuring technological, regulatory and legal monitoring;
 Managing audits, control missions and business continuity plans;
 Securing infrastructures, networks and software;
 Training and raising employee awareness of cybersecurity issues.
Main activities:
-Assess security risks and design appropriate measures;
-Install, configure and update security software;
-Set up firewalls, encryption protocols and access protections;
-Monitor network activities and respond to incidents (malware, vulnerabilities, intrusions);
-Draft ISS policies, directives and procedures;
-Supervise and support teams in compliance with best practices.
Desired profile:
Bac+5 in IT, information technology or equivalent;
Professional certification in IT security is an asset;
Experience:
 Min. 3 years in a banking environment or in ISS;
 Min. 5 years in the IT field.
Required skills and knowledge:
 Mastery of ISO 2700X, PCI-DSS and cybersecurity standards;
 Good knowledge of risks, cybersecurity policies and ISS governance
;
 Expertise in security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI,
SSL/TLS cryptography);
 Legal knowledge in IT law and data protection;
 Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills;
 Ability to manage crises and build an appropriate cybersecurity strategy.
