*Assistant Fashion Designer*

Grace Lumière, a luxury bridal and ready-to-wear brand, is seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the lead designer and design team to bring fresh and innovative ideas to life. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical skills, and a strong understanding of fashion design processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Illustrate fashion designs manually or digitally using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Assist in creating fashion sketches, technical drawings, and garment specifications.
  • Support in pattern-making and sewing, understanding garment construction and fit.
  • Source and research fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive collections aligned with brand identity and trends.

• Contribute to color palette development and fabric selection for different collections.
• Work efficiently under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and project requirements.
• Support in coordinating with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.
• Participate in fittings and assist with adjustments to ensure the best fit and design realization.
• Maintain awareness of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitive market analysis.

Qualifications:

• • Minimum of an Ordinary Level certificate (O-Level).
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion industry, including design trends and techniques.

Work Experience:

Previous experience in fashion design, internships, or roles in a fashion-related company will be an added advantage.
