Mustard Seed Investment Credit (MUSIC) is a grassroots Microfinance Institution established on June 12, 2014, with a macro vision of offering innovative financial and related services to members and the public. By leveraging the power of financial technology, we are determined to bring a new banking experience to all users, enhance financial inclusion and facilitate digital payments across Africa. Among other conventional financial products such as savings and current accounts, MUSIC has also invested in a product called FLEXY BANK that allows users to access their accounts anytime and anywhere within and outside Cameroon.

We are seeking the services of suitable candidates who would be willing to work in any of our branches within the national territory of Cameroon; (Grand Hangar, Douala) to the above position;

Main Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
 Lead all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales; Assess local market conditions and identify current and potential sales opportunities;
 Develop forecasts, financial targets and business plans; Achieve targets and metrics;

 Manage the budget and allocate funds appropriately;
 Bring out the best in branch staff through training, coaching, development and motivation;

Identify areas for improvement and propose collective actions to address challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities; Maintain a positive relationship with clients, by planning and implementing effective marketing strategies and monitoring the development of new and existing financial products; Network with appropriate professionals;
 Review areas of activity and identify new market opportunities; Share knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices; Maintain a high level of discipline within the branch and ensure that all staff perform well; Keep abreast of competitive markets and provide reports on market movements and penetration.

Qualifications and Skills
 Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing or equivalent in a similar field from a reputable university;
 Proven experience in Banking Management for at least three years as a Branch Manager or similar position;
 Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices;
 Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word;
 Must be bilingual (French and English);
 Strong analytical skills; Ability to work under pressure;

 Proven track record of performance;
 Ability to achieve sales and production targets;
 Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
 A person of impeccable personal and professional integrity;
 Motivated, engaging, positive, results-oriented personality with maturity and the ability to command respect.
