CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE SELECTION OF TWO HUNDRED (200) YOUNG CAMEROONIANS WHO WILL RECEIVE SUPPORT, WITH A VIEW TO THEIR INTEGRATION INTO THE MOTORCYCLE TAXI TRANSPORT SECTOR

I- CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATION
Following the Very High Agreement of the President of the Republic and at the invitation of the company YUNUS SA, an interministerial delegation (PRC, MINREX, MINJEC, AMBACAM BRUSSELS) stayed in the Kingdom of Belgium from February 24 to March 3, 2025. The objective of the mission was, on the one hand, to close the month of youth in the diaspora and, on the other hand, to mobilize Technical Financial Partners with a view to supporting the empowerment of Cameroonian youth through self-employment.
Indeed, as part of the implementation of the missions assigned to it in terms of promoting National Integration, and specifically the supervision and support of local initiatives of Cameroonians in the Diaspora with a view to their participation in the work of national construction, the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC), during this mission, signed a tripartite Partnership Agreement with the YUNUS SA Company and the PEOPLE Finance SA Financial Institution (PEFI). This Partnership Agreement aims to support the socio-economic integration of young people.

The objective pursued in the execution of this agreement is, on the one hand, to provide young Cameroonians with motorcycle taxis in the form of a financial rental contract/subject to sale and, on the other hand, to enable them to create Income Generating Activities (IGAs). This is the reason for launching this Call for Applications which aims to select two hundred (200) young Cameroonians wishing to benefit from an opportunity in the transport sector through motorcycle taxis.
II- PURPOSE OF THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The purpose of this Call for Applications is to select two hundred (200) young Cameroonians, beneficiaries of support for their integration into the transport sector through motorcycle taxis.

Ill. CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY
Persons who meet the following conditions may apply:
    1. be of Cameroonian nationality;     
2. be aged between 17 and 35 at the time of application;  
3. reside in Cameroon;  
4. be registered with the National Youth Observatory (ONJ);
5. be holder of the Biometric Youth Card;

6. be unemployed or in an unfavorable economic situation
7. hold a category A driving license
8. agree to use the vehicle exclusively for professional purposes and comply with the conditions set out in the initiative:
9. be in good physical condition: good health, good eyesight, good hearing and good mobility.

IV- COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION FILE
The application file must include the following documents:
– a stamped request addressed to the Minister of Youth and Civic Education:

– a photocopy of the National Identity Card or the valid receipt where applicable:
– a photocopy of the category A driving license
– a Biometric Youth Card or the receipt for said Card; – a map showing the location of the home.
V. DEADLINE FOR ADMISSIBILITY OF APPLICATION FILES  
Application files must be submitted no later than Friday, June 6, 2025: – in physical form, in a sealed envelope, at 3:30 p.m., to the Mail Service of the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education, at the headquarters building, located opposite the National Archives. or in the Regional, Departmental and District Multifunctional Youth Promotion Centers ;
