Dangote is looking for Substation Operator
Job Summary
- Responsible for the Proper operation of the substation.
- Monitor the operations of the substation to ensure its functionality and output are stable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Adjust controls to regulate the flow of power to the plant.
- Control generator output to match the phase, frequency and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
- Monitor and inspect substation equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
- Co-ordinate with power supplier ENEO on daily basis regarding any power issues.
- Maintain system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment.
- Maintain the clean lines of all areas of the plant and control room.
- Ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer

Requirements
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Work Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good oral and written communication.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
