AIMS-Cameroon is being launched as part of the AIMS Next Einstein Initiative, a coordinated programme to launch 15 AIMS centres across the continent. This ambitious plan has won support from the Governments of Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Canada, and international companies..




AIMS Cameroon is issuing a call for tenders for 60 high-end 14-inch laptops (Intel i7, 16GB RAM, RTX 4050 or higher, 512GB SSD). Submit your bid by 6pm (Douala time) on July 20, 2025!

New or professionally refurbished high-quality devices are accepted – 24-month warranty required in both cases.

Call for Tenders: Supply of Laptops for Students
(brand-new or high quality professionally refurbished units welcome)

[To equip the next cohort of students, AIMS Cameroon is inviting qualified vendors and oems to bid for the supply, delivery and commissioning of fifty (60) high-performance laptops.

What we need
quantity: 60 laptops, 14-inch form factor
minimum spec snapshot
intel® core™ i7 (12th gen or newer, 10 cores / 16 threads)
16 gb ddr4/5 ram, upgradeable
512 gb nvme ssd
nvidia® geforce rtx™ 4050 laptop gpu or higher with ≥ 6 gb gddr6 vram
wifi 6, bluetooth 5.x, back-lit keyboard, 50 wh battery (8 h typical)
windows 11 pro, hd webcam, full port set
new or professionally refurbished: refurbished units are accepted provided they meet every specification above and carry the same 36-month hardware warranty.
