*Electrical Engineering Engineer TO WORK WITH THE DOUALA CITY COUNCIL*
1- Main missions
     Carry out preventive or corrective maintenance of electrical equipment or installations based on electrical diagrams or layout plans, in accordance with current regulations;
     Install, maintain, or modify machines in automated systems; design and develop electrical diagrams and plans of electrical circuits and systems for various applications (energy, telecommunications, etc.), carry out system performance analyses and system performance.;
     carries out analyses and simulations to model electrical systems., ensure the planning and coordination of technical projects and monitor the budget and deadlines for completion; ensure the installation and preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment; analyze the electrical system and identify possible malfunctions; produce an action plan to determine the elements of each installation; ensure the updating of equipment and propose technical improvements; diagnose faults on the public and internal network of the Institution,
2- Required diploma The applicant must hold an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
3- Experience
  A minimum of two (03) years of professional experience is required in the maintenance of the public electricity network.
4- Requirements and skills
• have knowledge of network electricity;
• have knowledge of the local spare parts market,
• know how to read and interpret an electrical diagram; master computer-aided design and maintenance software (CMMS)
• comply with electrical safety standards and regulations in force;
• have the ability to anticipate and react to problems.
5-Age requirements
• Be between 25 and 40 years old.

1 – Composition of the file
The file includes.
– A handwritten job application written in French or English, addressed to the Mayor of the City of Douala, stamped at the current rate (01 tax stamp and 01 municipal stamp),
– A Curriculum Vitae (CV),
– A cover letter,
– A photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months;
– A photocopy of the reference diploma dated less than three (03) months.
Copies of supporting documents for professional experience,
A photocopy of the National Identity Card or valid passport.
2 – Deadline and place of submission
Complete files will be received every working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from May 16 to 30, 2025 at the Urban Community Mail Service.
The Mayor of the City will communicate the final results by press and posting.
