Shift Electrician (M/F)

Location: Douala, Cameroon Company: CHOCOCAM – TIGERBRANDS Chocolaterie Confiserie du Cameroun

Main Mission: Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Shift Electrician is responsible for ensuring the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment to maintain and improve the functioning and performance of the production tool and buildings.

What Will You Do?

• Develop diagnoses minimizing machine downtime in the area assigned to them;
• Be reactive and available for palliative and curative maintenance;
• Refer to their hierarchy (Production Coordinator or Electrical Coordinator) for managing intervention priorities;
• Ensure preventive maintenance of the production tool and building according to the current schedule;
• Carry out daily, during their shift, rounds, inspections, and checks on the production tool and buildings;
• Keep all work documents up to date (registers, check-lists, work orders, etc.);
• Ensure cleanliness and order before, during, and after each intervention;
• Carry out their different interventions in strict compliance with hygiene and safety rules;
• Be a force of proposal for the continuous improvement of maintenance and production through their different reports and during meetings;
• Be guarantor of the protection and good use of the work tools entrusted to them;
• Execute all work at the request of the hierarchy.

Qualification and Professional Experience:

• BT/BP/Baccalaureate in electricity (F2 / F3);
• At least 03 years of experience in electricity, the field of manufacturing or industrial production being an asset.

Specific Requirements (Knowledge – Know-how – Soft Skills):

• Read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams;
• Develop a diagnosis, detect a malfunction;
• Use electrical measurement devices.
