Head of Commercial Strategy & Performance.
MISSIONS
In compliance with the Group’s internal rules and health, safety & environment rules, the Head of Commercial Strategy & Performance is responsible for:

- Provide dynamic and leading input into sales strategies, systems and processes to drive organizational effectiveness and competitive advantage;
- Develop dynamic business strategies in line with market developments, Initiate business projects that will promote and improve performance;
- Plan, develop, execute and evaluate capacity development programs and ensure the right level of skills and capabilities to meet business needs;
- Ensure the coordination of commercial operations by maintaining close communication with other company departments (Logistics, Factories, Finance, human resources, etc.);
- Ensure coordination of the overall performance of the internal and external business system.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thinking ahead, anticipating trends and opportunities. Bringing possibilities to life, demonstrating the ability to move from idea to action;
- Carry out correlation analyses of volume trends (seasonality, purchasing power, GDP, inflation, competitive activity) and develop development scenarios for our domestic and export business activities;
- Work in collaboration with S&OP to plan short, medium and long term demand;
- Define growth opportunities and key drivers of product performance, through optimal distribution solutions, commercial execution in existing and new territories;
- Develop optimal “Route to Market” models for different products by optimizing secondary distribution costs, in order to ensure a long-term competitive advantage;
- Coordinates strategic planning of regions, exports and other products (e.g. Clinker);
- Monitor performance indicators (Digital Distribution, weighted, market share, stock share, market coverage rate, sales success rate, execution in points of sale, etc.),
- Initiate corrective measures and short-term, medium-term and long-term solutions that secure market shares;
- Develop and execute sales and marketing capacity building plans to achieve Cimencam’s business strategy in alignment with the group’s broader strategy;
- Gather business insights on the future, impact of AI/Systems and business requirements to guide skills development;
- Develop the company’s pricing strategy and value chain, based on the distribution strategy;
- Provide analysis and recommendations to improve distributor financial health (current and future inflows and outflows), return on investment, risks and mitigation, distributor evaluations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bac+4/5 in Marketing, Sales, Commerce & Distribution, Management, Economics, Engineering
- At least 10 years experience in a commercial role
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Mastering sales techniques and tools
- Market Knowledge – Understands and applies sales and marketing terminology and key performance drivers.
- An ability to challenge conventional thinking and propose alternative distribution solutions.
- Analysis and synthesis of financial and macroeconomic information likely to influence commercial performance
- Define the specifications of communication/advertising agencies
- Work collaboratively and create a relationship of trust with multiple internal and external contacts (HR, Finance, Logistics, Factories and General Management)
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Mastery of the local social environment.
- Operational and with a sense of organization and management of unforeseen events.
- Team spirit and ability to lead and manage a work group
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Listening to and understanding our customers
Language
- English and French
