Main missions
The Head of Taxation Department is responsible for ensuring the company’s tax compliance in all countries
of activity (Cameroon and CEMAC zone), optimizing the tax burden, managing relations with

the tax administration and guarantee the reliability of declarations. He ensures compliance with the legal and
regulatory framework while providing technical support to management.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all tax reporting obligations (VAT, IS, withholding taxes,
property tax, business license, etc.)
• Supervise the preparation, transmission and payment of periodic and
annual tax declarations
• Carry out ongoing tax monitoring (CEMAC, Cameroon, OHADA)
• Anticipate and manage tax audits, disputes or litigation with the administration
• Evaluate and optimize the company’s tax burden in compliance with the law

• Participate in the tax structuring of financial, commercial and asset transactions
• Collaborate with the accounting, legal and financial teams to ensure the reliability of tax bases
• Produce regular and reliable tax reporting to management
• Supervise tax department employees and contribute to their professional development
Desired profile
Training
• Bac + 4/5 in Taxation, Accounting, Tax Law, Audit or Management Control
• In-depth knowledge of SYSCOHADA, the Cameroonian General Tax Code and
CEMAC texts

Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate tax department or in an audit/tax firm
• Proven experience in the management of multi-site or industrial group tax obligations
Technical skills
• Mastery of tax rules applicable to the extractive/industrial sector
• Good knowledge of electronic declarations (DGFiP, CEMAC, impots.cm, etc.)
• Mastery of accounting ERP (Microsoft Dynamics environment, etc.) advanced level
Personal qualities
• Rigor, discretion, professional ethics
• Sense of anticipation and negotiation
• Analytical mind and ability to popularize tax rules
• Good writing and argumentation skills in front of the administration Application
