Description du poste

  • Support recruitment processes, including drafting and posting job advertisements, monitoring and reporting on recruitment processes, screening and selecting applications, preparing interview schedules, and assisting with background and reference checks on successful candidates.
  • Manage HR policies, including employee employment conditions, salaries and benefits, employment contracts, leave records, etc.
  • Manage the organization’s medical plan and pension/provident fund.
  • Ensure that employment documents are complete and up-to-date and that employee information is treated confidentially.
  • Ensure that all required employee documentation is obtained, properly filed and updated as necessary.
  • Ensure all employees receive essential HR documents, including the current contract, employee handbook, and job description.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for new employees, and track contract expiration dates for renewal.
  • Ensure that any change in an employee’s status is properly documented.
  • Support the orientation and onboarding of new employees, including preparing an orientation program and welcome pack, informing staff about employment conditions, enrolling staff in benefit plans, and ensuring new employees have appropriate workspace and resources.
  • Collect and provide payroll information to ensure that employee pay and benefits are accurately calculated and that the payroll department is promptly informed of any changes affecting employee employment conditions.
  • Oversee the general management and administration of employee leave and other leave-related processes.

Prepare and update the human resources database for the Center and update the organizational chart monthly.

  • Contribute to employee safety, wellness and health programs, and support internal communications as well as staff training and development needs.
  • Contribute to the oversight of the performance management system and ensure compliance with key dates and deadlines.
  • Ensure proper planning and preparation for the departure of employees, particularly with regard to the transfer of responsibilities, exit interviews, etc.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma or professional certification in human resources management, law, organizational development or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in human resources management in an assistant or management position.
  • Experience in the international non-profit sector is preferred.
