Responsibilities

Our client, a large consulting firm specializing in organizational optimization and the implementation of information systems (IS), is looking for a Human Resources Manager based in Douala, Cameroon, to develop its activities in Cameroon.

JOB MISSION :

The Human Resources Manager defines and implements HR policy in alignment with the company’s strategy. He/she ensures the attraction, development, and retention of talent in a context of high mobility and multi-site management, while ensuring a collaborative and structured working environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent management and recruitment

–       Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy based on skills needs and ongoing projects.

–       Develop a forward-looking employment and skills management policy (GPEC).

–       Ensure the monitoring of professional career paths and the management of internal and external mobility.

Skills development & training

–       Design and manage the training plan in line with the strategic needs of the company.

–       Support the development of employee skills and their adaptation to changes in the profession.

–       Implement coaching and mentoring actions.

Performance management and career development

–       Implement a performance evaluation system (indicators, annual interviews, regular feedback).

–       Define and harmonize professional development paths within the company.

–       Develop an internal classification of professions and skill levels.

Social relations and work environment

–       Ensure the application of legal and regulatory obligations in matters of labor law.

–       Manage relations with staff representative bodies and ensure a favorable social climate.

–       Implement actions promoting employee well-being and engagement.

Administration RH & reporting

–       Supervise the administrative management of personnel (contracts, payroll, absences, etc.).

–       Design and monitor HR dashboards (turnover, staff numbers, salary costs, etc.).

–       Ensure regulatory monitoring and adapt HR practices to legal developments.

JOB CHALLENGES

–       Manage high mobility of project teams, with consultants and trainers often on the move.

–       Structure and harmonize career development in a multi-site and multi-project context.

–       Establish an internal classification of professions and levels to clarify development prospects.

–       Standardize job descriptions to ensure consistency in the expectations and responsibilities of each role.

Develop a performance evaluation system adapted to the specificities of the company and projects

Educational requirements

–  –       Bac + 5 minimum (Master, MBA) in Human Resources

–       Certification and additional training (assets)

o    Certification in Talent Management and International Mobility

o    Certification in HR Information Systems (HRIS)

o    Certification in Change Management and HR Project Management

o    Training in Leadership and Team Management

o    Mastery of Agile and Lean Management methodologies (appreciated in a project mode environment)

Experience requirements

–       Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in HR, ideally in a service or consulting environment.

–       Experience in managing mobility and talent in project mode.

Additional requirements

Technical skills

–       Mastery of the fundamentals of human resources management.

–       Good knowledge of labor law and regulations in Central and West Africa.

–       Experience in implementing a performance evaluation and job classification system.

–       Excellent understanding of professions related to consulting, digital transformation and ERP project management.

–       Mastery of HR tools and HRIS software.

Behavioral skills

–       Leadership and ability to unite teams around a common HR vision.

–       Rigor and organizational skills to manage several projects simultaneously.

–       Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish a climate of trust with colleagues.

–       Ability to make suggestions and manage change.
