International Committee of the Red Cross for Central Africa Is recruiting an ICT Specialis

The delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross for Central Africa in Yaoundé is looking for a qualified ICT Specialist to strengthen the team of the ICT department.
Based in: Kousseri (Far North-Cameroon)
Type of contract 12-month fixed-term contract (offer reserved exclusively for the territories
Starting date:01.02.2023

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the ICT projects entrusted to him, documents them and ensures that they are delivered on time:
Is responsible for all ICT activities within the sub-delegation of Kousseri:
Acts as back-up for the sites of Maroua, Yaoundé, Bamenda, Buea and Douala
ensures the proper maintenance of ICT inventories and stock levels adapted to the needs of the Kousseri sub-delegation:
Ensures compliance with ICT policies, rules and procedures so that they are respected and adapted to the context and operational needs:
Ensures that the ICT infrastructure is functional, set up in accordance with ICRC standards and in compliance with local rules and regulations

Provides training to computer users, and reminds them of the rules governing information security and the proper use of programs/software installed on computers;
Provides training to users in the use and processing of radio communications:
Improves and offers new solutions of ICT services:
Maintains and operates existing systems
Produces and maintains the technical documentation of all ICT installations:
Performs any other duties assigned by his/her hierarchy.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum BAC + 3 in Computer Science: Networks and Telecommunications or any other related discipline;
02 to 04 aces of professional experience in a similar position;
Good knowledge of telecommunications network technologies and installation (PABX, VHF/HF radio communication. Unified Communication Solution and SAT Solution, as well as Satellite Communication)
Sulvarte certifications are required: MTA IT Infrastructure, MCSA Windows Server 2012: GVF-CRT. SPA
Certifications in ICT Service Management (TIL, PMP and Prince) are an asset:
