Department: Communications and Marketing
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3months
ROLE
The role requires a creative, dedicated and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks. The Communications/journalism intern should be a team-player with the willingness to learn and ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities. This individual will assist with communications tasks including, but not limited to: writing and editing, photo and video production and editing, web and social media analytics, social media content, graphic design, media relations and other communications support tasks as assigned.
Education:
The ideal candidate is a graduate in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, digital media, or graphic design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in writing and editing communications materials;
- Translate communications materials when necessary;
- Write stories, reports and minutes of meetings;
- Assist in the preparation of events;
- Support in the development of audiovisual materials;
- Attend meetings and conferences;
- Assist in content creation / development for social media and the website.
- Update the communication database;
- Any other related tasks to support the Communications unit
