Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international NGO established in March 1991 in Seoul, South Korea. GNI is currently operating in 35countries all over the world and specialized in community development including activities of education and child protection; health promotion and prevention; water and sanitation; income generation; advocacy; community partnership and network building. Good Neighbors Cameroon has been working in Cameroon to promote health and education and to improve water and sanitation at the community level since 2014. Good Neighbors Cameroon, whose head office is based in Yaoundé, is looking for one (01) OD Volunteer for the Head Office.

I- JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Position: OD Volunteer
Staff reports to: Head of the Operations Department
On a general note, the OD Volunteer will participate in the execution of all tasks related to work of the department and Good Neighbors in general.
A. Location of the position: Yaoundé

B. Specific profiles required:
1. Candidate should be between 18 to 25 years’ old
2. Be able to read, write and speak French or English fluently (but English will be an asset);
3. Be punctual, courteous, tactful and able to communicate sympathetically;
4. Be available and not have any professional and or personal commitments that could hinder the smooth running of the tasks given within the organization;
5. Computer skills, a background in community development or humanitarian work are an asset;
6. Applicants must comply with the internal rules of the organization;

I- CONSTITUTION OF THE FILE

The applicant must provide the following documents in English or French
– A letter of motivation;
– A curriculum vita (of two pages maximum), with at least two references attesting to good character and aptitude for work;
– A copy of the last diploma and work experience certificates
– A copy of the ID card
NB:
1- All interested candidates may apply for only one position. However, under the decision of the selection committee and the acceptance of the said candidate, a candidate may be reallocated to another position in accordance with his/her CV
2- The latecomers will not be allowed to enter the Organization for the written tests, they will be disqualified automatically.
3- Submission of any fake documents will cause automatic disqualification and cancellation of the application.
4- Good Neighbors Cameroon will not cover any expenses of candidates during this recruitment process.
