LOCAL CONTRACT – DOUALA – JUNIOR ENERGY / INFRASTRUCTURE BUSINESS MANAGER M/F

What will your role be?

You will act in tandem with the senior business manager in developing activities and identifying new opportunities for intervention in the energy, infrastructure and manufacturing industry sectors for Proparco in Central Africa.

Which team will you join?

You will be placed under the hierarchical responsibility of the Central Africa Regional Director of PROPARCO and in liaison with him.

MISSIONS

• Ensure sectoral monitoring and monitoring
• Monitor and analyze political, economic and regulatory developments
• Define priority areas of prospecting
• Manage and develop business relationships with a network of prospects, customers and partners
• Plan, prepare and carry out prospecting missions
• Ensure PROPARCO’s visibility at sectoral conferences
• Write press releases

Preliminary analysis of intervention opportunities

• Develop a robust pipeline of quality investment opportunities
• Conduct a risk assessment
• Carry out financial analysis and financial modeling work
• Prepare presentation documents for intervention opportunities
• Refine the proposal for intervention and structuring of the project
• Present the project to the identification committee
• Ensure the negotiation work of mandates of interest

• Commercial sense
• Autonomy
• Sense of financial analysis
• Team spirit

Level of education and experience

• Bac + 5 (Master 2, MBA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience

LANGUAGES

• Fluent in English (fluent) and French (fluent)

Position Location

Douala – Cameroon with several missions in Central Africa and occasionally in Paris (headquarters at Proparco)

Prerequisites

The candidate must have Cameroonian nationality.
