Context
 Children’s Villages Cameroon (SOS VECAM) works on behalf of children and young people,
primarily
 in the Central and Littoral regions. As part of a
project
 funded by SOS-Kinderdörfer weltweit (HGFD) and supported by the Dakar Regional Office, the organization is now operating in the Far
North region, more 
 specifically in the Mayo-Sava and Mayo-Tsanaga departments. This integrated project aims to strengthen child protection, improve access to education, and support the
development
of affected populations. In order to ensure the proper provision of logistics and supply services in accordance with SOS VECAM and donor procedures, SOS VECAM is seeking, subject to funding approval, a logistician for the Far North emergency project.
Main responsibilities:
Oversee purchasing, transportation, storage, compliance with procedures, and monitoring of supplier contracts.
Monitor IT, telecom, energy, inventory and file updates. Supervise vehicles and generators, plan movements, track fuel consumption, ensure travel safety, biosecurity and driver training.
Monitor work, infrastructure maintenance, improve working and living conditions at the base level.
Manage the IT equipment, provide technical support and enforce current logistics policies and principles.
Apply and follow security procedures and ensure the reporting of security information.
Directly supervise drivers, guards and service providers. Raise awareness among service providers about SOS VECAM policies (Code of Conduct, Safeguarding). Prepare and write monthly logistics reports where data (purchases, contracts, vehicles) will be centralized.
Desired profile
Training:
Minimum Bac+3 in logistics/supply management or equivalent
Bac+5/Bioforce training or administrative management (asset) Experience:
Minimum 3 years in humanitarian logistics management
Experience in supply, stock management, security and team management Experience in a national or international NGO in a similar context appreciated
Technical skills:

Mastery of stock management, vehicle fleet, telecommunications Knowledge of donor procedures (EU, ECHO, AFD, USAID, BPRM… Good writing skills
Mastery of Office Pack
Languages:
French required
English and local languages ​​(Fulfulbe, Pidgin, etc.) appreciated
Personal qualities:
