Summary
Nascent Solutions seeks responsible, trusted drivers to support the US Department of Agriculturefunded McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition project. The Drivers
will be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and the safety of the project staff.

organization. Its mission is to enable vulnerable people, especially women and children in rural
Africa, to develop skills for self-sufficiency. The organization focuses on food security and
nutrition, health, literacy and skills development, and gender equity.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure the cleanliness and technical functioning of the vehicles.
• Ensure the security of vehicles when out on field vision or out of the office premises
• Use route navigation apps where applicable to carry out official errands
• Transport project staff and partners in a professional manner
• Ensure routine maintenance of the vehicles
• Fill in the vehicle logbook daily
• Provide monthly report on the state of the vehicle
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
