The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to sustainably and measurably improve the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote health. Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to deliver high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has been providing the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention, among others.

ACMS is seeking candidates to fill the position of Project Manager (M/F) for its services.
Who are we recruiting?
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of the project throughout its lifecycle, from inception to closure. He/she is responsible for the implementation of all aspects of the projects, including technical implementation, financial and administrative compliance, and the supervision and coaching of project staff.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the project team to ensure that implementation at the national level is carried out with a high level of excellence, achieving set objectives and targets and staying within budget; Provide senior technical leadership;
Ensure that each phase of work is initiated or completed on time. Be responsible for the use of evidence to improve project design and implementation. Liaise with stakeholders. Be the main point of contact for the project donor, ensuring the strategic alignment of the project with the ACMS strategy; Be responsible for the management and direction of the program, including financial oversight, compliance and management of a consortium of partners, human resources management; Required qualifications and skills: Have at least a Master’s degree (or international equivalent) MSC, MPH, MBA, or equivalent in public health, social sciences, program management and/or other relevant discipline; 2. Have at least 08 years of professional experience in the field of health-related project management or a related field, including at least 5 years of supervisory experience;
3. Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English
4. Have the managerial capacity to strategically manage risks and control finances;
5. Ability to manage agreements and all programmatic and financial reporting requirements, including sub-award management;
6. Ability to monitor and evaluate own performance, that of others and/or organizations in order to make improvements or take corrective actions; 7. Strategic thinking and planning skills, with an emphasis on the ability to operationalize and oversee the execution of work plans; 8. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and work with different teams and roles. Ability to persuade and motivate individuals and teams; 9. Proven experience in managing government and donor relations; 10. Ability to work effectively and tactfully in a cross-cultural context; II. Strong written and oral communication skills.
