*Recruitment notice: 02 Rural Engineering Engineers NEEDED TO WORK WITH THE DOUALA CITY COUNCIL*
1. Main missions explain and implement expertise in urban hydrology and soil management; carry out feasibility studies for rural infrastructure projects (roads, canals, dams)., assess the impact of projects on the environment and propose sustainable solutions supervise the execution of works while respecting deadlines and budget; control the conformity of application of quality procedures;
  Manage projects in complex and unpredictable environments, requiring a high capacity for adaptation; work with various stakeholders, including NGOs.
2- Required diploma
  The applicant must hold a degree in Rural Engineering Design or equivalent.
3- Experience
  A minimum of two (03) years of professional experience is required in the field.
4- Requirements and skills
Creative and pragmatic spirit;
     Have the ability to work under pressure and in a team while respecting time, means and regulations;
     have a sense of responsibility;
     master urban sanitation;

     master the field of public procurement; be scrupulous in respecting safety standards and standards; precision in reasoning and method, demonstrate autonomy; master topographical studies, have team spirit and ability to work collaboratively and be robust; have the ability to anticipate and react to problems.
5- Required age
  Be between 25 and 40 years old.
HOW TO APPLY:
COMPOSITION OF THE FILE, DEADLINE AND PLACE OF SUBMISSION
1 – Composition of the file
The file includes.
– A handwritten job application written in French or English, addressed to the Mayor of the City of Douala, stamped at the current rate (01 tax stamp and 01 municipal stamp),
– A Curriculum Vitae (CV),
– A cover letter,
– A photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months;
– A photocopy of the reference diploma dated less than three (03) months.
Copies of supporting documents for professional experience,
A photocopy of the National Identity Card or valid passport.
2 – Deadline and place of submission
Complete files will be received every working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from May 16 to 30, 2025 at the Urban Community Mail Service.
The Mayor of the City will communicate the final results by press and posting.
