Main Mission
The Assistant Hydraulic Engineer conducts hydrological studies by carrying out studies to optimize the production of hydraulic power plants in compliance with safety standards, environmental protection, compliance and concession and governance obligations. .
Main Activities and Tasks
· Carry out hydraulic studies;
· Carry out densification studies of hydrometeorological station networks;
· Carry out hydroelectric production optimization studies;
· Carry out preliminary design studies for small hydropower projects;
· Carry out studies for the standardization of measuring equipment;
· Perform studies on the quality of flow forecasts.
Your Profile
· Minimum BAC + 5 in the field of geotechnics, hydrotechnics or hydrology;
· Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the fields mentioned above.
Technical Skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of river hydrology;
· In-depth knowledge of hydrotechnical works (hydraulic power stations, dykes, evacuation works);
· Knowledge of fluid mechanics and mathematics (probabilities, random variables);
Good knowledge of statistical concepts;
· Good mastery of the evolution of technologies and methods of prospecting, densification of the network or the development of calibration curves;
· Proven skills in the development of studies Preliminary Projects Summary and Preliminary Detailed Projects;
· Mastery of sizing techniques for small and medium hydro.
