The HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS CAMEROON Organization, abbreviated “2HRC”, is a Cameroonian organization for participation in development through the promotion of education, health and employment of vulnerable groups as well as the fight for respect human rights without any discrimination. It is a non-profit association whose creation finds its essence in the desire and commitment of a group of dynamic young people to put an end to the evils which undermine Cameroonian society and elsewhere. It is therefore a question of supporting international organizations and the Cameroonian government in the implementation of specific programs and projects in favor of populations most exposed to risks, particularly in the areas of human rights and health.

 

 




 

POSITION TITLE: 01 RECEPTIONIST
Duration of employment: 12 months renewable after evaluation, a trial period of at least one month will be observed.
Objective of the position
The Receptionist will:
Lead online mobilization and awareness activities;
Give the right information on HIV and STIs to beneficiaries and visitors;
Organize and carry out prevention activities aimed at the target beneficiaries of the project;
Participate in weekly consortium and other project-related meetings;
Ensure the completion of the various project tools;
Ensure the distribution of prevention materials if necessary;
Intervene in any other activity where their skills are necessary.

 

 

 

JOB PROFILE
Education Secondary level training (at least probationary level) and peer education training would be an asset.
Required experience • Prior experience of at least two years in prevention activities,
Relevant experience of working in the project’s target community; The direction of the organisation;
Good morals;
Have a spirit of confidentiality;
The ability to work in a team;
A sense of initiative;
The ability to judge;
Perfect command of the French language and good knowledge of English;
Mastery of spreadsheet and word processing software;
Have the ability to work under pressure.
Respect for hierarchy
Specific leadership and social relations skills Being a good communicator, receptive, conciliatory, slow to anger, sense of innovation, ready to work under pressure and capacity for anticipation.
Performance criterion Achievement of results
Working hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a mid-day break
Working days: Monday to Friday and Saturdays depending on the results to be achieved
NB: adjustments to working days and hours are regular , and depending on the position

A detailed CV signed
A photocopy of the latest diploma, certificate or any other supporting document
A photocopy of the CNI.
