General information​​​​​​​

    Made up of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire of the container terminal of the deep-water port of Kribi. 
KCT offers the Cameroonian logistics chain a modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.

A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also wishes to position itself as a transhipment hub.

Job Description

Mission Description 

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the air conditioning systems of the machines and equipment on the TAC
• Treat the machines planned by the team leader as light preventive maintenance
• Treat the machines planned by the team leader as heavy preventive maintenance
• Ensure the repair of the air conditioning system of the vehicles/machines planned by the team leader (diagnosis, list of parts, removal of parts, reassembly, tests, etc.)
• Prepare the worksheets
• Ensure the cleanliness, order and tidiness of the workshop
• Participate in the departmental technical on-call
• Participate occasionally in operations not related to his/her section
• Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on site
• Communicate in a way that guarantees the proper flow of information with his/her hierarchy
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions on the TAC.

• Respect the internal regulations, work procedures and QHSE instructions in force
• Ensure the good condition, proper use and maintenance of the equipment for which he or she is responsible

• Any other tasks assigned by his or her hierarchy.

Profile 

• Hold at least a BAC+2 option Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or any other equivalent diploma
• Be able to read and write French or English fluently
• Experience in a similar position (2 years) particularly in the maintenance of air conditioning systems for machines or heavy goods vehicles

Have in-depth knowledge of electricity and maintenance of air conditioning systems for machines
• Have an excellent foundation in the cold chain of machine equipment
• Draw up a parts order
• Have an excellent foundation in the cold chain of machine equipment
• Required skills: Dynamism, involvement, sense of responsibility, Be autonomous and punctual – sense of customer service – know how to report
